There's a no-brainer. The pros are using Avid and Final Cut for Video. Pro Tools is the majority of truly professional audio. What was Pinnacle going to do with Steinberg? At least Yamaha has a track record fo working with Steinberg to make their products work together.
Now that Yamaha has a decent mlan offering, this deal should give a very high degree of functionality of yamaha products within cubase and nuendo. Possibly having the need for all this extra outboard gear to go away. The yamaha mixer will be the audio/midi in out, effects processing and control surface for cubase/nuendo. Scott |
