Thanks, but I've read that thread. Didn't see anything about Big Box users.

There is an upgrade from Big Box to Pro 7 for $700. What is not clear is whether Apple considers Logic Audio 6 to be the same thing as Express 6. For all intents and purposes, they are the same thing. But I would feel pretty stoopid if I paid for the $99 upgrade (Express 6 to Express 7) and it didn't work.

Just saw a post on OSX Audio quoting someone at Apple saying that Logic Audio 6 users CAN upgrade to Express 7 for $99. The details are not all clear regarding bundled synths, but I am greatly relieved that I don't have to take a $700 step to keep support.

Apple offers an upgrade from logic audio 6(big box) to Logic 7 express. It can be obtained from the Apple store for 99$. Emagic has assured me that all plug-ins purchased with the (Big Box)Application will be fully functional with Logic 7 express.
