Vst Plug-ins In Logic Express

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 11 Joined: 17-Aug 04 From: Leicester - UK Member No.: 48,967	Hi, hope someone can help me with this - I've just been given some Antares VST plug-ins by a friend but haven't the foggiest idea of how to get them working in Logic Express. That is, I haven't even got them to appear in the drop down menu or anything! Is there a special VST folder I need to use or what?! Sorry, I just have no idea what I'm doing, being new to both the mac and the logic! Thanks, Gary.

Maniac Member Group: Members Posts: 899 Joined: 12-Oct 01 From: Kirkland Member No.: 2,002	Logic supports VST in OS9 only, In OSX the native format is Audio Units for plugins. To use VST plugs you need OSX versions, and the VST-AU adapter by FXpansion, to convert the VST plugs to Audio Units. I have the adapter and it works fine. -------------------- G-Dub
