i have a single 1.8 g5, and was wondering what is needed to be able to plug a guitar into it.. preferably something cheap. any suggestions?

if you don't want to put any PCI cards into Mac , you can use a USB or FireWire interface . I can suggest Edirol's UA-25 :

I don't remember well , but it should be in stores very soon . This one is easy to connect , and to use with any computer you want . Just for "dirty" recordin' , you won't be needing anything else . It's about 295$ , but you got the whole audio card .
