Assuming the VST plugs were written for OSX, you'll need to pick up fxpansion's VST to AU Adapter in order to use them in Logic.

Hi. I use the fxpansion Vst - AU adapter with Logic 6 Platinum - it works very well, and I highly recommend it.

vst to au converter is good for instrument plugins in Logic but converting vst effects makes other apps soundtrack and Final Cut Express crash which use vst plugins. I guess converting vst to au renders them unusable as vst.

Yes, i think the whole idea here is that you make copies of your VST plug-ins, then use *the copies* for the adapter.

I've been having some crashing with Vst - AU Adapter and Steinberg's VSTis (Virtual Guitarist, Hypersonic, HALion). I need to spend some time trying to fix it

You need to use the newest version of the FXpansions converter - the older versions won't work with Logic 7. -------------------- electronicmusic.dk
