Recently moved to Logic Gold 6 from PC 5.5.1. I understand from several notes on these forums that the AU of EXSP24 saves sampler info etc differently to the VST version.

I was successfully using 2 Xtreme sample CDs with the VST version, but can not find these instruments in the EXSP24 AU. How do I amend this problem so all the samples/instruments from the CDs are available? huh.gif

Cheers,
G

Not quite sure but i think it has something to do with the folders that you load the samples info from the cd...logic has a 'sampler instruments ' folder and a 'exs samples' folder you have to load the 2 different samples formats from the cd(one each - aiff and the exs ) cant quite remember which one goes into which, but with some fiddling around it should be fine Hope that answers your question : biggrin.gif

Sounds like you have the old version.

In OSX the proper place is users/library/exsp factory sounds.
