The only free sequencer I know of for Macs is a copy of Computer Muzys that is on every Computer Music magazine CD...

Oh, and there's also "Logic Fun" which you can download from the eMagic site, I think it's under Education.

Both of these are Mac OS 9 only, though.

If your on OS9 try Pro Tools Free by Digidesign

or if you have OS 10.2.6 or higher get Apple's GarageBand - it's almost free - $49 USD - part of the iLife 04 package...

I do not think Pro Tools Free has MIDI capability?
