I have an iMac DV 500Mhz running OS 9.2 stock. I need advice on setting up a functional, budget recording studio. What products are a good value and will help me in the learning stages? I will be a  Recording Industry major in the fall and want to get started by building my own setup. I want to produce deephouse and house tracks. So far I have the Mac,Electrix Filter Queen,Mofx, and the Electrix Eq Killer.2 Technics 1210's and a SoundCraft D-Mix 300, 3 channel dj mixer and a Korg MS-2000. What else is available to me,I know the MOTU 828. What sequencing app should a newbie consider?
