I'm not a RAM expert, but the easiest thing to do is to remove the new RAM and see if the beeps go away. It's possible the RAM is faulty. Good luck.

Unplug everything with a plug inside the mac and plug it back.
Check for dust into slots (bit of dry air…)
Reset the motherboard if it's possible (unplug from mains, open, touch the metal, remove the lithium battery, press the tiny tiny button near it for 20 seconds, put the battery back, close, replug to main, boot) in case it's something wrong on the soft side (but usually beeps means hardare trouble)
test your RAM if you can boot in OS9 (use gauge pro (free) or techtools)
Run the hardware tests from techtools anyway.
If all this doesn't work (outside RAM) you've got something bad happening somewhere.
