Hey allz sup. I was wondering could anybody please explain to me how good the Tascam USB Interfacew is and the highs and lows of it also how good is it compared to the M-Audio interface The M-Box

the only lows are low headphone volume, no digi outs.
the pre's are good. the device is stable. happy recording, editbrain |

I've had good experience with mine too. Nice preamps, easy to use, and a great price if you're like me and you don't usually record more than a couple of tracks simultaneously.
As a USB device it will have more latency issues than a firewire or PCI card, but Logic 6 in OSX handles the ASIO drivers easily and with the hardware monitoring you can play into it without timing delays. In OS9 you will have to set up OMS for the ASIO, which was a pain, OSX was much easier. But that's not peculiar to this interface. |

i don't use ASIO driver with mine. It wil lonly use the core audio in oS X.
