I'm trying to record sound to my Mac G4 (OS 9.1) by running two Shure SM-58 mics through a Mackie 1202 mixer, then to a Sony DVMC-DA2 digital converter, and then via Firewire into my Mac. I can't get an audio signal to appear on the Mac using this setup.
Either I have to troubleshoot this setup, or I have to buy a proprietary sound recording solution. Either way, I'd appreciate any suggestions.
