Hi guys , whenever I record with my keyboard I get too low sound ... even if I have the keyboard at max volume... I have a M-Audio audiophile 24/96... I connect my keyboard directly to it , I was thinking into getting a mixer or something ... what do you guys recomend me?

I would stay away from the cheap Beringers, they are noisy. I have a Mackie 1604 and I love it. One other way to go is to get some preamps but I find sending a mix out of the mixer tomonitor gets rid of latency problems.

Oh thats nice , but my question , goes oriented to where is my problem.... If I get a mixing board , is my record volume going to improve??? Thats it !

There may be a way with the sound card to set the levels from -4 to +10 which would give you a volume boost without having to buy a mixer. Check the control panel for the M-Audio card.
p.s. I have a cheap Behringer mixer and it is not noisy for me. Although I would agree that the $$Mackie$$ is a better mixer.

There may be a control or virtual mixer with your audio interface, mine has one. You will be able to bost your out put and get more volume with a mixer or preamp. But remember to use good gain stucture, digitail clipping is harsh. I also have a baringer mixer that I sometimes use for remote recording of sound for video, it is not to bad if you do not turn the gain up much. For the money it is exccellent.
