No need for additional software. Open up Simple Text or Text Edit in OSX and type what you want your robot to say. Then highlight the text and choose Edit/Speak. You can choose your type of voice in your system prefs under "speach" (osx) Zardox is probably what you want.
Also, for fun, go to your local toy shop and I'm sure you can find a "robot voice" toy. There used to be toys called "Megamouths" that are GREAT for fun voice madness. I like to hold them up to my guitar pickups and go straight in to my processor/amp sim.

How about the Orange Vocoder by Prosoniq. It has been around for a while now and is a favorite in VST and RTAS formats. Hope that helps, TD

Let's not forget that Reason 2.5 has it's own BV512 Digital Vocoder, you did afterall mention you use Reason. TD

in regard to the voices in OSX using txtedit.. everytime i try to use it, it clips....
