Have you got the 'dongle'? This is a key which goes in the USB socket and is checked by Cubase before it will work, basically to stop illegal copying.

yes, you need to have a dongle in order to use Cubase. Anyway, I hooked my laptop with USB while using Cubase SL. I just don't know why my laptop keep crashing on me when I start the program. Perhaps my Mobile Pre USB box can't handle the power through my laptop? any ideas?
