Hi folks,
So, I know that the G5 has an Optical digital input SPDIF using a Toslink connector, and the brochure tells me that the 428 has an SPDIF out put. Is there any reason I can't hook the 428 directly to the G5 bypassing any type of mixer? I'd route the audio into Logic 6.0 platinum
thanks,

hey,
The mixer willl just give you that much more control, but yeah, hook the cable right up, It will save sound quality by not having to conver from digital to analog biggrin.gif
