When you insert an AKAI disc on OS X you will get the message "You have inserted a disc containing no volumes that MAC OS X can read. To continue with the disc inserted, click ignore"
Click the "Ignore" button.
This disc can now be accessed by programs such as CDXtract and Toast.

CDXtract can recognise regular "ISO" disc images which can be made with programs like Toast.

CDXtract works very well (also Translator) at converting between sample formats
