It should be fine.
The Oxygen 8 has USB on it, so you can send your emac midi signals through that.

Zack, This is how it works on my Mac G4 tower; You will get a driver CD with the Oxygen 8. It will install a MIDI driver. Then a MIDI port option in Reason MIDI options called either "Keystation or Port1" should appear. If Reason gives you the choice, as I believe it should, you can use the "built in audio controller" on the Mac, and you will not need an external sound card.
HOWEVER, I am NOT familiar with the "EMAC", or which OS you're using, so you will need to find out if it meets the requirements of Maudio (Oxygen 8) to run as I have outliined.
good luck stan

I was just checking and discovered there is another nice looking model very similar "Evolution MK225C MIDI", do the drivers work the same as the "M-Audio Oxygen 8" and is it better or worse, what do you think?
Thanks again
Zac
