Here goes....
I'm junking my midi studio and going digital, selling all equipment to use Performer with fast lane and Motu 828 on a Powerbook G3. I want to find out as many issues I can in advance of plunging in to the nightmare that always arrives when making such major changes -any advice? I am aware of issues with OMS and free midi on fast-lane interfaces, but can I use just free midi solely with out OMS? |

FreeMIDI and OMS can be an either/or thing. As your setup looks to be 100% MOTU (hooray!), you don't have to install OMS.
