Hi all!
I'm having problems with Reason. I can't record from my MIDI Keyboard. I've gone through the manual and it seems I'm doing it right, but there might be some magic MIDI stuff i've overlooked (i'm a rookie when it comes to MIDI) Setup: Power Mac G3 350 rev A, 448 meg RAM, OS 9.1 OMS 2.3.8 Reason Roland PC-300 USB MIDI Keyboard The keyboard is hooked up with a single USB cable (no MIDI interface). I've managed to make the individual modules in Reason make sound when I play the keyboard. But when I record the sequencer is still blank. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Regards, John p.s what is an IAC bus? I have this choice in Reasons prefs under MIDI controllers etc. -------------------- John Erik Andersen

Hi
Make sure that in the Midi preferences you have selected your keyboard controller in the Sequencer pulldown menu. Don't worry about the 4 external midi control selectors for now. Now, select which module you want to play by clicking to the left of it in the sequencer. press the record button and it should record the midi. Hope this helps.. glitch |
