I've been watching and waiting, but still no "date" set for the release of Digital Performer to companion Jaguar and my new Mac G4 Tower. Would anyone know a more specific time than "in the Fall"? Thanks

Well, i heard many contradicting things about the famous "next" release of DP... Are you a member of UnicorNation, for example? Many talkings there...
First (4/5 months ago), i heard that 3,1 will be OS 9 only, and the next after 3,1 will support os X (end of 2002 announced!) Then, i heard of a french guy right here on macmusic (15 days ago) using a beta >3,1, under os X!, claiming it will be out in about a month and that it's pretty good (ie worth the wait), he even stated some new functions! Bah... i would say wait & see, 3,02 is working fine here (no stutter crash, or such), so it's not so important for me right now... But i'm hardly waiting for it, as i'm a DP addict :-) The best software i ever used till now, every platform or dedicated system included... Bye. |
