hi,
for some reason, core audio 'forgets' that i want to use the mbox for all audio and it keeps switching back to the internal audio controller. is this something that can be fixed by deleting the preferences for core audio? im not using the mbox with protools, but the driver i got from digidesign.com seems to work until i fire up any program other than protools that utilizes core audio. it then switches back to the internal controller. any ideas? thanks in advance, nick |

Hi guys,
Protools gear only works with protools software. Unfortunately. Does anybody know if digidesign will ever release drivers so you can use something like the mbox with other programs? Seems to me, they would be making a good deal. |

Up to now the policy of Digidesign is to control all their products and provide good support tech that's the main reason why they don't allow the use of other products with their own stuff.
I read thoses days on the french forum that the guys of Digidesign are working hard on a cross platforms Core Audio driver but they don't know how long it will take to develop. pesji -------------------- |
