Hi,
I know this is not the most sophisticated sequencer program out
there (I do have a copy (licensed) of Tracktion (1) but am currently
only using GB2

I can not figure out how to section real intstrument tracks
(electric guitar) and then the next step(?) is making a loop
and adding it to the loop browser, I have the Soundtrack SKB
loop utility but I am lost way before that.

Can you also make loops with software instruments (from
tracks created with a midi controller)

Thanks in advance
sorry if this is in the wrong forum

record your guitar section. Edit the bits you like using split, cut and paste. Then click and drag your edited clip to the loop browser. A dialogue box will pop up so that you can enter details of your clip to idenify it in the index.
