Hi , I just found out how to stick my jack into my Imac so I can play guitar on my computer. Only problem is , I have no audio software to record it onto. I was wondering if anyone knew of the best sound recorder for a guitar , for mac os 9. I was also wondering where I could find a recorder that would give the guitar a certain sound , like autowah or metal or grunge sound. Thanks in advance.

May be not the best, but works, not too expensive, and you can try it fully : Sound Studio, you can found it on this site!

As for recording, since you're still on OS 9, you can get ProTools Free.

Thx , I was having a problem with my guitar not being able to work on Pro Tools , see ive hooked my guitar into the microphone jack on the side of the comp , which so far works good. But as soon as I enter Pro tools , the sound goes off , I and I cant get any playing done. So I was wondering what I should or could do to solve this problem.
