So I got the Tascam US-122 interface, and I have Logic 5.5.1 and 6.0.1 for Mac on OSX (Panther). I don't know how to record in Logic using the US-122. I've set everything up right, and am getting a signal on the interface itself and in the headphones, I just can't get a signal in Logic. What do I need to do?

First off, if you have 6.0.1, I would recommend downloading the latest update (6.3.1) from emagic's website. I assume you're talking about recording audio? If so:
- Have you selected the 122 within Logic? (go to Audio Hardware & Drivers from the Audio menu).
- Have you armed the audio track for recording? (click the "REC" button at the bottom of the channel strip)
- Does the input selected on the track match the input (I'm guessing you have a choice of 1 or 2) on the 122? (to change this, long click the bar on the channel strip that likely says "Input 1")
- Most importantly, have you read your Logic manual? laugh.gif (It's all in there!) cool.gif
