Hi all, I have the problem that I can't save the position of the asf video that I have seen until now with Gom Media Player: when I open a very big asf, even if it is on the PC hard disk, it is like opening a buffer that prevent the vision from the point where i left the video. With Avi or Mpg I haven't this problem; I don't see this buffer effect. Does anyone of you know how to modifiy the asf file to avoid the buffer effect? Or how to convert it to .avi without quality loss and limitated dimension? Or, more simply, does a Gom player setting exists to avoid this problem? Thank all of you __________________ Never seen baby gift like these! ( idee regalo on italian or idée cadeau on french), 學校

you can use change the source filter to playback the asf file. If you are facing problem: Go to preferences--> Filter Now in Source Filter tab . select the source filter for the ASF format. If you still have the problem than you can take the help for Microsoft windows vista support to resolve the issue.

Before downloading let it buffer completely and then take that url and download it. Or you can even try as suggested by ThomasAnderson.
