Hello I have a Power Mac G5 dualcore 2 ghz Machine id 11,2. Cards pci Express Two 4 lanes and one 8 lanes with Tiger 10.4.11. I have a 01 V Yamaha + Multiface 2 + Cubase SX 3. The card is Master
I use 2 adat digital cables and a cinch digital for recording the mix .
Before that I used a 96/8 on a G4 and no problems but now I own the Multiface 2 with the G5, the problem is in Cubase or when I use the card, after 20 minutes or sometimes more, the computer stops, so what can I do ?
I must turn off the computer by the power button. My driver is 1.60c, if I don't use the card and work with the internal card of my mac, I have no problems so i don't know how to do .
I remark the card stops on a frequence (bug) when it freezes between E 4 and F 4 cause I heard it when I only use the internal soundcard of my mac, after 2 hours the hammerfall DSP Settings became interface RPM I don't know why.
I look forward for your answer

Have you reset the PMU/CUDA? ("motherboard reset")

Have you tried to move around the cards?

What does the Console (in applications/utilities) tells you when the computer locks up? It may be important to trace the naughty bit that crashes everything.
