Hi, I'm wanting to output individual tracks from logic, so i can run them thru an analogue mixer. To give me hands on control and to take strain of the computer and my eyes(less time staring at a monitor mor time tweakin knobs and listening.
My intial thought was to daisy chain two firewire interfaces together, such as an echo audiofire 12 and 8. (I am using an intel mac if that helps) this would give me 20 outs to send to a mixer. But if I need more outs would i be able to link a third device? Or would I need to look elsewhere? Also would i be able to run the stereo mix back into logics main out for mixdown?
I have logic express 7.2
I don't mind if the solution is expensive and long as its future proof and expandable
Thanks for reading my post, I will be grateful of any advice

It seems that i wont be able to get alot of I/0s through firewire due to bandwidth limitations. The apogee X series seems the way to go. Not cheap tho, so i better start making some hit records.
