Hello,

I'm using a MacBook (Core 2 Duo – Intel) laptop, running on MacOS X (version10.4.8) exploring system.

When I try to connect my Yamaha s90 keyboard with the USB, I alwas get this message:

"USB Over Current Notice. The USB device is currently drawing too much power. The port it is attached to will be deactivated"

I tried things as using a powered USB hub, no more improvement...
So I guess the problem comes from the driver. I use the last one designed for MacOSX (version 1.1.0) from 10.2.8 to 10.4.5.

If this driver is not adapted to my OS (10.4.8), how long should I be looking forward a freshly built yamaha driver?

Or if the problem is not about driver, what is it?

Thanks a lot,
Mikaël, a man longing for help!

I had the same problem a while back on my dual G5 2Ghz desktop. Searched high and low for an answer but, could find none. The USB hub has been completely useless to me. Thankfully, now I'm just using less USB devices but , I would love to hear any solutions or ideas on what the problem is.
