Connect your hardware, open the adio /midi setup utility, to see if your midi and audio hardware is present. Then open up Logic, start the setup manager, allow it to detect your hardware and create your intial enviornment. should be good to go. Also make sure you have an output selected on the chanell strip, make sure that output is controled by your master fader. To reveall all available tracks and busses, engage the global button on the track mixer, hold down shift, and sellct the type of track you desire, double click on a channel in the track mixer and it will appear in the arrange window.
