i'm a bit stuck! how do i turn a logic pro 7 file into a audio file? aiff?

Go under the FILE menu and select BOUNCE. You'll then specify where you want your audio file to bounce to, what type it should be, and whether you want a file to go to your iTunes library. It's that simple.
