Hi all, this is my first post and I am new to Macs. I have just got a Mac Mini and a Hercules USB Muse Pocket audio device, I also have a Midiman midisport 2x2. I am in need of a simple multitrack audio package to record my analog synths. I don't need fancy features and limitless VST plugins and the like, just a simple package that will allow cut and paste editing with the ability to slave to Midi clock. Ableton Live and Cubase, Logic etc are out of my price range and have features that I simply would not use, Garageband is ok except it will not sync to Midi.
Are there any freeware, shareware or reasonably priced solutions that will allow me to do this? Thanks in advance! Analog Junkie This post has been edited by analog junkie: Tue 24 May 2005, 20:45 |

Try Traction, it should be compatible with your pocket.
There's a demo version on Mackie site. |

I did not think Anvil was available for mac ?
Metro will do what your asking, and has a demo. Best advice... try as many demos as you can, and find the program most suited to you. -------------------- kaboombahchuck
