Generally speaking mac OS-X has actually gotten real speed bumps along the major releases. (perhaps not always dramatic speed increases - but still...) Tiger is no exception to this rule. Reports from various users on the Unicornation BBS seem to indicate that Tiger is indeed a bit snappier than Panther. Also check out this article from Ars techica: http://arstechnica.com/reviews/os/macosx-10.4.arsThe article is long but very instructive in parts and required reading for any Mac enthusiast. The article can downloaded as pdf-file and perused at your leisure. Cheers: Dixiechicken

Upgraded to Tiger today. No problems so far. Everything is a bit snappier. Life is good.
