How Much Should I Pay??, How much Options

How much should I pay for a second hand G4 ibook, buying from a mate and its full of audio, and multimedia software all of which Im gonna need...
Its bout 5-6 months old and ill be buying it in 2 months..
Any ideas, in euros or dollars??

1) You can check the "Completed Auctions" using eBay's Advanced Search to see what similar machines have sold for.

2) How can we tell you what it's worth if we don't know the configuration, speed, condition, etc.

3) The software is worth exactly zero unless it comes with CD's, serial numbers and a transfer of license to yourself. If it does not come with the CD and license, any software sold "on the hard drive" with a machine is pirated.

The software if not with licence doesn't exist if it's not freeware.

No talks about pirate/K/cracks here save in a general politic form about legal issues and protection policy from the editors (where we appreciate opinion diversity . But for legal reason, please…

Ok software aside...

Its a six month old G4 ibook laptop, 1.3, extra storage upgraded to 712mb. Everything else is standard as far as I'm aware, Its in perfectly working order, warranty is still valid,
But it has been used extensively so im sure the battery may be on its way out..

So what d'ya reckon??Anything else i should find out??

PS; he's a good good mate of mine who i know wont rip me off but I just wanted to see what you guys would expect to pay..
Have'nt checked ebay yet tho..
