Hi everyone, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Can anyone give their opinion about the M-Audio Fast Track? I already have a tascam us 122, still unoped due to birth of my son and thus no time to play, and i was wondering about returning it for the cheaper M-Audio Fast Track. Is the saving I'll make (approx £70) worth it? Im using Garage Band (and hope to upgrade to logic express if I ever have any Me time again!), just for vocals (senheisser mic)and guitar. I have 2 more days left to return item so any advise about the Fast Track product, ie. ease of use, latency issues etc. sound quality etc would be really appreciated. thanks. My Mac is an : ibook G4 (1.2) -OS X 10.3.7 [COLOR=blue][FONT=Arial] This post has been edited by justnicola: Fri 7 Jan 2005, 11:02 |

I haven't been able to get my Tascam Us-122 working properly. If you go to the taascam website it recommends a G3, and informs you that the Cubase software is NOT OSX compatible. I'm taking mine back.

dear all
i finally decided on the m-audio fast track and its great!!! very easy to install - plug and play - and the sound quality is ok. i recommend it if all you want is to put down some songwriting ideas quickly, which all i can do right now in between changing nappies and feeds!!!! justnicola |
