Hello
I have the same keyboard plugged into the USB port on the front of my G5, 1.8 DP. All I did was turn it on,plug it in to the G5 and Garage Band recognised the new midi input. Ian |

I finally gave up on my Keystation 49e which failed due to 'electrical problems'. Considering the low price of this thing...it's probably not worth having it repaired. Shipping it to the manufacturer is probably more expensive...:-) To make sure that this malfunction was not due to OS X. I plugged in a "Radium 49" and this one worked beautifully after I installed the provided 'driver' and after a reboot of my Mac. "Audio MIDI"-setup recognized the 'Radium' correctly on the first try. Also -and I'm not sure this makes a difference-try turning on the Keystation BEFORE you open the 'helper software' (such as 'Garageband'', or similar. |
