nope. Audio CDs are puuure streaming digital audio, sample for sample.
But they will take up a tiny bit less space - no data file meta-data, no icons, no operating system .DSstore files, etc. etc.
Correct me if I am wrong

It depends on the bit rate actually.
CD's will always be 16 bit files
Aiffs and Wavs can be anything from 8 bit upwards (the higher the bigger) logic normally records in 24 bit for example.
So - yeah - sometimes files on CD will be smaller ...
But only so's your dog could hear.
