LOL good suggestion.... when I first opened ProTools app...  I was lost too. But after 3 weeks of experimenting and reading the manual as I put together my first recording... it all started to make sense. So don't just read the manual... get a project started and then read the manual as you go along referring to it anytime you get stuck or don't understand something. Eventually you will get project done and will have much greater working knowledge of the program too.
