I say it again: WOOAH!

I suppose the 100X128 is sensors by inches but it'd be better if we could be sure.

A very very nice "toy" biggrin.gif

A little update…

The screen is 800X600 and the sensor part would be 100X128 which is low. Now, when can we be able to touch this thing? cool.gif

No MIDI: That's fine by me. The OSC (Open Sound Control) standard is MUCH more powerful than MIDI. With a high end device like this, I don't think I would be very satisfied if I had only 128 steps of resolution.

I am sure someone will write a little MAX/MSP patch that will convert from OSC to MIDI specifically for the Lemur.

Also consider that the price point of this thing may be FAR above what some folks may be expecting. I mean, this isn't going to be priced like an M-Audio device. While I have NO inside information whatsoever, my WILD GUESS is that the Lemur will cost between $2,500 and $4,000 USD.

I won't start a price evaluation, but sure it won't be a dozen a dime wink.gif

Still, a few months to wait before touching the thing. I've missed the demo at Résonances unfortunately. sad.gif
