Hi, I'm a new MAC user and musician. I'm trying to make a demo recording. I've scanned the piano accompaniment into SmartScore and edited it and made a .mid file. Well, so far I can't figure out how to import it into Garageband - so now I am trying to decide what software to buy. I've been researching MBox and Logic Express but I'm not even clear what the differences are. I want to be able to do the above as well as be able to record live gigs, like when I sing a cabaret gig with a piano, or sing solo for a choral society, or even when I sing with the organ at a church gig. this is my first entree into making music on a computer. Can anyone help me?

if you work with midi file and midi instrument logic is better than protools . protools is better if you wanna record audio .
