Greetings,

I have been a dual platform user over the years, but I still do most of my audio and mastering on the PC because of SEK'D Samplitude. I cannot find any Mac program that has the same Virtual Project editing window with multiple editing handles, waveform views, effects, and mastering tools all in one space. If there is anyone out there who has used Samplitude and has since found its Mac equivalent, I would love to hear about it. My goal is to be rid of the PC by 2005.

Thanks

Thanks kobol.

Audiodesk looks very good. But it seems to be avaiable only as a bundle with a MOTU Firewire interface sad.gif The comparison chart with DP on the MOTU website seems to indicate that the same editing tools in Audiodesk are identicle in Digital Performer. Is this true? The DP screenshots do not show this...

yes! Digital Performer and Audiodesk have the same editing tools for AUDIO.
but...Audiodesk do not support MIDI editing, that's the difference!

and you right when you say that Audiodesk just run with MOTU hardware!!!
yep! it's a shame! angry.gif

you can see it on the MOTU/Audiodesk Features page...:
look at the UPGRADE Feature in HARDWARE SUPPORT.
