Nice article, good overview. Naturally very accurate loudspeakers and amplifiers are a necessary part of the process too.

Unfortunately in digital recording as in many other things in life there is no free lunch. Meaning that the quality gained comes from the quality of the whole chain of all the processes and events...and at at the end your own ears..
