open the MIDI file into Logic, assign instruments from either the quicktime synth (GM sound bank) or any other instrument you may have (like the ones bundled with Logic). Record the audio playback into AIFF for example and now Itunes can read it.

Better to ask a Logic user… I'm on Performer. So the peculiarities of Logic, I don't know them… and the little I know on Logic I don't want to tell stupidities.

Anyone on Logic ? Please ? cool.gif

If you were using Metro or posibly Cubase, you would simpily rendor as audio.... Shurly Logic has steped up to the plate. If not, you will need to run sound out of mac to sound in of mac and record as an audio recording, and import into iTunes.

Hiya,
Its fairly straightforward -
assuming that all your tracks are routed to one stereo audio output [ main ]
1. go to your audio output [object ]
2. find the 'bnce' button at the bottom [ bounce ] & click
3. a window should appear where you can chose to export your audio in a variety of formats ie. mp3, aiff. wav etc
4. pick your choice of format , edit quality of render / encoding if necessary, then click bounce.
-pick where you want it to go - hit ok
5. also, 'bounce & add' can be used if you want to render a group of tracks to one track, and this will re-import them to the audio window / pool

its in the manual!
hope this helps, i'm using logic audio 6.3.1, which i'm quite sure is the same, cos i bought it as a 'big box', which has all the same stuff as logic express -
