Hi guys , A friend gave me a piano samples CD as a gift ...
The thing is , that in the CD I found a folder with lots of piano keys samples...
how can I trigger those on reason? or digital performer 4??
I would really like to learn that

What is the format of the Sample CD? If it is an Akai CD you can use the ReLoad program from Propellerheads to convert Akai samples to to NN-XT patches suitable for use in Reason. Also if they are in audio format you can build your own patches in your soft sampler of choice. (I suggest you RTFM for the specifics of setting up multisamples and keymappings, as all soft samplers will have their own specifics for this procedure.) Also some very good tutorials and guides for this can be found around the web.

Hi there, thanks for the quick respones , I don't know if it is akai format...

It says that the sounds are for VSampler 3

There are some .vs3 files in the CD and some sub folders with plain . wav samples.

Any clue?

Sounds like Vsamp would be the best way to go.

Im not sure about "VSamp", their site makes no mention of .vs3 or other supported patch formats. It looks like "VSampler 3" http://www.vsampler3.com is a windows plugin only.

You can use the .wav files with NN-XT or NN-19 in Reason, but you will have to set up your own keymappings.
