Can I get a SCSI conection for my iPod, so I can use it as an external HD for my Akai MPC2000. Or is the software to old to understand the iPod anyway. Are firewire and SCSI dramatically different?

You like to complicate your life don't you?
Check the docs of the new version of Aksys but I won't be optimistic… -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

Aksys is a dedicated software from Akai to handle operations on most of their sampler line
Now I repeat, you are trying a complicate thing, and I won't be sure at all it can be done… using an iPod as a drive for an MPC is a bit far of… Latest news on aksys on OSX, I'm not sure at all MPC 2000 is supported… -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

I know I'm taking a long shot. I have a !00mb zip drive for my MPC. I'm just curious as too wether this would work or not. I certainly had my doubts. Thanks for your help though, much appreciated.
