I own an IMAC G3 but the problem is that there aren´t any scsi port, so I can´t connect my AKAI S3000XL. Well....I bought a SCSI TO FIREWIRE ADAPTER / CONVERTER by ORANGE but I can´t get the computer to 'find' it? When I try to make MESA 2 find it it, it says 'NO SAMPLER FOUND' It´s like it won´t acknowledge it´s there? What should i do?

Be patient. Perhaps noone that has tackled this very specific problem has read your thread yet. I work for an apple dealer, and we have had terrible luck with scsi to usb adapters, and ultimately we've stopped selling them because they are very unreliable. Why dont you use midi sampledump for the time being? Its slower, but it works.

ps. telling people they suck will not help you out in the long run.
