I just bought cubase sx 2 update. But having small annoying problems. When switching active tracks all the buttons disappear.(mute, solo, read, write etc..) They only reapear when i click on the box where the buttons were. Very annoying. I have the same problem with the buttons on the right. Also the midi falls out sometimes. Sometimes it comes back and other times cubase just crashes.

I was just wondering if you guys have the same problems or if it is us me

....I am running a 800 mhz g4 imac 768 ram.

Thanks

I have sx 2.0 on a MAC G5, this is a MAJOR bug. this is being addressed extensively in forum.cubase.net if you want to head over and check it out.

to sum it up, cubase says it is MAC and MAC says it is cubase. well whatever, the long and short of it is, there is a work around. the buttons will also dissapear on the transport bar. to bring your buttons back on the transport bar

click F3 twice

to bring them back on the tracks etc zoom in and out on the zoom bar.

that should restore them till they dissapear again (very soon)

the good news is cubase says the next patch will fix this

until i had the work arounds this was a show stopper for me, but now it is just irritating

Good luck angry.gif
