I really like this one a lot and would consider buying it EXCEPT that is shuts off for a few seconds every 30 seconds or so. Is this a demo feature (or restriction), a parameter that I missed, or a bug? I am using an iMac with Studio Vision.

It's a very good Reverb Dragan, felicitation :o)
The sound is clear & precise, the graphix are good too :o)
my problem is money :o( but one day maybe ...
I would like a Multicompressor VST ( the Multicompressor of waveburner from Emagic is GOOD !! but not VST...)
a TANK reverb :o) ( like the old Fender combo !)
et un truc qui puisse faire des 'ON' et 'OFF' un peu comme un gate mais avec le TEMPO en Sync !
igor

I purchased 1.12 and am wondering what needs to be done to properly run 1.13. Do I need another license?

Hey, I just checked out the reverb, and I'm totally impressed! Compared to TC's (VST) and Cubase's, it is much smoother and doesn't sound 'cloudy' like the other plugs offered, cheers for making it so efficient. I was considering buying the UAD-1 plug-in card for its compression and reverb, but it wont be out 'till next year, DR-Verb will ease the need. One question, does the licensed version have accurate presets? It could be yet another great reason to get it. It would be nice to run it out of the box instead of having to build the reverbs we are looking for. Because of its fidelity (never expected it out of a VST plug) you should consider modeling other classic reverb sounds/simulations from actual locations.
-Thanks, aio

Hi Dragan,
very nice reverb indeed. I'm considering buying it, however on my system there seem to be serious issues.
When closing the reverb window, VST freezes. This happens too when trying to remove the reverb from the Effect Send rack. I tried the latest version 1.15. My system: VST 4.1r2 on a G3 desktop running OS8.6 with 384 MB RAM.
cheers,
Macmod

First of all,Bravo,Dragan!..beautiful reverb!:-)

I experience exactly the same problems as 'macmod'...(I've been constantly trying each update!)...I'm on a PCI G3 400 Mac Clone(PowerComputing PowerTower Pro),running OS 9.1 and Cubase Score 4.1
Just as soon as this bug is rectified,I promise to buy!..but for now I cannot make use of the plugin because of all the freezing problems it causes.

BTW,I've just downloaded the SoundModelers bundle...I'm going to buy it!:-)
Dragan, how about for a future update,to have tempo-related parameters syncable to the sequencer's tempo? :-)

Cheers,

Vic

Hi Dragan,
at last I am an official DR-Verb user. I like it a lot, it sounds smooth and it uses not too much CPU power, for a reverb, on my humble G3 266 which I consider very important.

I've got a request regarding the presets however.
Due to the complexity (so much parameters, which is nice of course) of your verb, I would really appreciate a larger set of presets with 'suggestive' names. Some examples:
-vocal plate
-drum plate
-hall
-some more room types
-etc.

Moreover, as I (and a lot of other people I guess) use reverb generally as a send effect, I'd like the 'dry' to be 'off' in the presets.
I don't know if this is a lot of work for you, but it would be nice to have these presets as a starting point.
Best regards and keep up the good work!
Bob (Macmod)

Hi Dragan,

still no more presets available?

best regards,
Bob

ps why does saving a song take so long when a loaded but switched off DR-verb is in the 'rack'?

Hi Dragan,

I like the sound of DR-Verb - it certainly seems to have inspired a lot of positive comments from other forum users. Congratulations on its success.

I write reviews of Mac music hardware and software for two magazines in the UK - NME (New Musical Express) and MacUser. Is there any chance I can get a registered version of DR-Verb in order to review it? Do I need an unlock key to avoid the two-second drop-out?

If you could sort this out for me, I'd really appreciate it. It sounds like a great product, so I'm sure a lot of Mac readers would love to hear more about it.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Are there plans to make DR-Verb OS X compatible, so it will work with Cubase SX when that is released later this summer?

Hello,

Hello Dragan,

sorry for my previous post, i thought i was is the french forum.
So as I said when I open your effect, I just get the picture, but not effective data THROUGH the verb. I tried on and off the dry and all the others, but only a sound close to the original comes tru. I can say that I hear a slight difference in the tone but absolutely no reverberation.
Did I miss something very basic at the entrance??
Thank you for advise.

place it in the 'send effects rack' for single tracks or use it as a master verb as an insert

Thanks macmod,
I tried as send fx AND as track insert AND as master insert, with the plug 'activated' (red button on - unless there is a false contact in the bulb ?????!! I'll check with a new Osram or Phillips but I don't know how to unscrew the front pannel of the effect rack...) wink.gif
but it doesn't work. I don't use anything else, only ONE vsti (sample tank piano) for which I run the reverb.  and the fx is assigned to the right track.  Still no clue?

Hi:-) (salut!)
You say that the plug is, at least, doing *something* to the sound?
Have you tried the different presets? What is strange is that, normally ,a plug-in either works correctly or it doesn't work at all!...and from what you say,it looks like your's is working. At the top of the interface,is 'Wet' up at maximum, and 'Dry' down to minimum? I presume that with a different reverb plug-in in the same slot everything works ok? (I can promise you that when you eventually get Dr-Verb working ,it is absolutely gorgeous:-)
As regards the red light, are you sure you didn't let any water get into your computer the last time you took it to the car-wash?? :-)))

Ricket,

are you using the demo version? That one turns off once in a while because...it's a demo! Try to turn the ''send'' to max...so the effect is more obvious ..

I downloaded the DR-Verb demo several weeks ago and encountered continued clicking when using the plugin. Turned out the problem was a non-current version of the Emagic ASIO driver that Peak 3.0 did not like. With the current version all is fine. In the meantime I also downloaded demos of WAVES Trueverb and Prosoniq Roomulator. The Prosoniq demo does not behave as a VST and so far refuses to do its thing. The Truverb is infinitely adjustable, but in the final analysis I preferred the sound of the DR-Verb for lack of coloration. A beautiful exception to the rule that you only get what you pay for!

hi, i did get my OSX update quite a while ago via email but i could never get the au adapter to recognise it.

it seems other people had this problem!

Can anyone confirm whether this is a dead product? I must admit it was my very favorite native verb on os9, but now i am fully osx only and my new machine only supports osx anyway. i'd really love to abel to use this incredible effects again!
