Hi.
Does anyone know of a plugin/ software that can be used to make a person's voice (specifically a song being sung), sound as if it is another person's voice?
I'm making a short film in which a 6 year old actress is to be made to appear like a child musical prodigy with perfect pitch. So I'd like to record a professional singer and through software, alter the voice to appear as if the child is singing it. On set, the child will lip-sync to the song.
I think something like this was done in the Film "Farinelli."
Thanks.

There are a lot of plug ins and hardwares that can do formant changing.
They're not convincingly enough, so far they can be used mostly for backup voices.
Otherwise you'll see 10,000 Barbara Striesands, 10,000 Charlott Churches. biggrin.gif

BTW the Film "Farinelli" uses two voices.

Hello rdompalli,

I think the T.C. Voice Modler may do what you want. Unfortunatley you may have to purchase or possibly rent a T.C. Electronics Powercore Firewire.

Go to: www.tcelectronic.com/powercorefirewire Then click on "Optional Plugins". Then click on "Voice Modler" and check it out.

Thank you both. I'm looking into the VoiceModeler now, but any other alternative plugins that you might know of, would also be most welcome. - Regards.
