 Laptops, what to buy on a budget? |

I have a G4 with Protools and a Digidesign 002 that I'm using to record. I want to get a laptop to be able to record on the road and I want it to work with the 002. I'll probably also get a Mbox to take on the road.
The problem is of course money. After getting all the other stuff, I have little budget for a laptop, but I need to get it. What is the cheapest way to go that will still work well? Any opinions would be appreciated. |
