Hi, this may seem like a noob question, but, hey, it is. I'm wondering if it's possible to use any of the GarageBand software instruments in Logic Audio 5. I'm currently bouncing the tunes I've done in Logic, and then importing the file into Garageband to add any MIDI over top of it, i just want to get it done in one app if I can.
Any thoughts? A web search has proven rather unfruitful.
Thanks!

not possible yet other than in the way you describe.

Apple has been rumored to have promised and I think I read it somewhere semi official that there would be tighter GB Logic intergration in the future.

The instruments in GB are basically the logic instruments anyway. Loading an organ in GB will load a cut down version of the EVB3, most of the others are similar and if an equivalent does not exist it is more than likely sampled and played in the exsp within GB.

Logic does not limit you, you just need to find the correct samples.

Hint : Library:Application Support:Garageband:Instrument Library cool.gif

The only thing GB has over logic currently is the availablitity of the GuitarAmp plugin not yet finished for Logic.

Have a nice day,

C
